Stormwater Management Facilities
Since
the mid 1980s, we have successfully combined dual land use principals integrating
stormwater management with public open space systems.
To meet stormwater quality enhancement objectives, we participate on multi-disciplinary teams with hydrologists, engineers, plant ecologists, limnologists and wetland specialists.
Together
we examine a range of BMPs (best management practices) such as infiltration
and extended detention for sediment load reduction and reduction of non-point
source pollutants.
We integrate biotic and abiotic communities to provide more livable environments. These techniques provide ecologically appropriate solutions to a wide range of applications such as stormwater conveyance systems, channels, wet ponds and wetlands.
